North Country Public Radio

Based at the E.J. Noble Medical Building at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, North Country Public Radio (NCPR) operates a network of 32 transmitters broadcasting to the entire Adirondack North Country, western Vermont and southeastern Ontario. The commercial-free format includes a wide variety of programs from National Public Radio including All Things ConsideredMorning EditionFresh Air and more. NCPR’s award-winning news team can be heard weekdays at 8:00 am with regional news broadcasts, features and interviews. The station also airs an eclectic mix of locally-hosted music programs. The local frequency is WSLU Canton, 89.5 FM.

North Country Now

North Country Now is St. Lawrence County’s online resource for the latest news and updates. Canton residents can always get a pulse on the North Country’s upcoming events or  just check out local sports scores.

North Country This Week is a free newspaper available to all. North Country this week is run through the offices of North Country Now.
